FAQ
When should we schedule the senior session?
That really depends on what the senior wants in regards to location and look.
If your senior wants urban, downtown, city feels - any time of the year will work...but let's try not shooting in -13 degree weather. For those lush field vibes late late Spring and early Fall. If you want straight-up Fall colors and vibes - please book your session SOON as Fall is my busiest season and I book up about 2-3 months in advance.
How do booking and payments work?
Please review the above prices. Once you choose your price point click the BOOK NOW button. ONLY your retainer is due upfront to book the appointment. Once the images are ready to view your balance is due minus your retainer.
For example, if you schedule the GAGA session and your retainer is $300 upfront. Your final balance will be $2300-$300 = $2000
What is a RETAINER?
Your RETAINER...aka the session fee...reserves your date and time with Brook + that $$$ is applied to your final payment at your VIEWING SESSION. Please note that your retainer is non-refundable if you no-show or cancel 72 hours or less prior to the session date.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Southern Indiana based very close to Louisville, KY, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. Contact me for travel sessions.
When will we get our photos?
Depending on the season (Fall is insane) I give myself 2-3 weeks to complete a session and have it ready for viewing. I will then shoot the contact person an email and setup a VIEWING SESSION.
What is a Viewing Session?
Viewing sessions are scheduled once images are ready to be viewed. This is where we review your finished images and get your products ordered that come with each package.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. Put a leash on that sweet baby angel and bring them along!
What if my senior doesn't want makeup done?
If your senior doesn't want their makeup done by a professional we will subtract that makeup fee from your balance at the Viewing Session.
What if we need to reschedule our session? Or what if it rains?
Life happens...but please remember I'm running a small business and my TIME IS MONEY. I have a strict 72-hour cancellation/reschedule policy. Read it below along with the rain-out policy.
- GIVE ME 72 HOURS
If you need to reschedule or cancel your senior session please do so within 72 hours of the session date. This will allow us to fully refund your retainer. Any time less than 72 hours will result in the loss of your retainer. No matter what please shoot Brook a message and let her know the situation.
- RAIN & WIND OUTS
If the weather is crappy with rain or high winds rescheduling the session will be done early and Brook will reach out to the contact person who scheduled the session. And yes, high wind is a reason to reschedule UNLESS the senior has short hair. Trust me...rescheduling due to high wind is a MUST.
