Its so surreal to be taking photos of my own daughter for her SENIOR SESSION!! Like WHAT? Keaton was the girl that made me a momma. She's the little blonde fire cracker who made me completely rearrange my priorities, look at my life so differently, and she's shown me what true family is. To say the least, my family life growing up was a little whack-a-do at times. I was raised by a single mom doing the best she could...but instinctively when you have your own kids its like a manta started playing in my "life" movie of DO BETTER, DO BETTER DO BETTER. My girls live such a vanilla stress-free life compared to what I went thru at their age...I'm very proud to have given that to them. I'm so terrified and excited to watch Keaton wrap up high school this year and venture into her bigger girl world.
Here's Keaton in one paragraph...
From birth, literally, Keaton has been an old soul and a "watcher". She takes in the room and unlike her sister and me, she takes a minute to warm up to people she doesn't know. Once she warms to someone she's hilarious, witty, and a great conversationalist. She's either full on GOING GOING GOING or taking such a nap. Her naps are insane. Her RBF is enviable...I thought my RBF was fierce, but it doesn't hold a candle to Keaton's. She's not a hugger or very touchy feely unless she wants to be. In essence she's a cat. Everything is on her terms and that's amazing (and at times frustrating).
